SoMud

Nowadays, torrents are the best way to download various types of content from the Internet. That's because a torrent can download much faster than downloading the same file over HTTP and FTP. Besides that, torrents can be resumed in case of an Internet connection problem. Doing this with a normal downloaded file is possible only using a specialized download manager. But to be able to benefit from all the torrent technology, the user must first install a torrent client. There are numerous such programs on the market, but most of them are crowded with useless features and are difficult to use.

SoMud is different from all these programs, as it's a simple Windows torrent client which offers just the options required by an average computer user. Besides downloading torrent files, SoMud can also handle regular files over the FTP and HTTP, acting as an advanced file download manager.

These file links can also be intercepted automatically when clicked on them, exactly like in the case of torrent files. The download speed is much better than using the download manager of the web browser. Furthermore, torrents can also be created, not just downloaded.

SoMud allows having more download tasks in the same interface and at the same time, allowing the user to browse through them and to easily differentiate completed downloads from uncompleted ones.
